My Approach

No one person is the same as anyone else and what each person needs in the moment is highly specific to them. I have been privileged to receive quality supervision in settings ranging from hospitals to private practices and I have worked with clients from a variety of different backgrounds in many different life stages. These experiences have allowed me to see the different ways in which therapy can have an impact on people's lives and have helped me to develop a flexible approach that allows me to tailor the treatment to your specific needs. Life is not one-size-fits-all and the path you take to get to your best life shouldn't be either!

Therapy is, at its core, a relationship. In order for therapy to be effective, I believe that there must be both a solid relationship and the use of evidence-based techniques. That's why, I not only believe in keeping myself up-to-date on research, but I also focus on building and maintaining our relationship by being transparent and communicating openly with you. Our sessions will be collaborative. We will work together to develop goals and plans for reaching them so that you can get on with living your best life.
